What does hx --health say about your clipboard provider? This sounds like there may be an issue with the binary on your machine.

And to clarify, are you talking about copying text from Helix (yanking), or copying text to Helix (pasting)?

Pasting with ctrl-v on windows terminal is very slow, is that what you're doing? If so, use space-p instead.

On terminals that don't implement something like OSC52, ctrl-v works like you were manually typing each character one-by-one.
