Current state of Helix

Hey all. I'm just curious about the current state of Helix, particularly because it looks like the last official release was quite some time ago, yet the latest commit was just a couple days ago.

I did a tiny search through PRs, Issues, and Discussions and didn't really find anything that answered my questions in general.

So here are a couple questions I have in mind:

• Is there a next release planned any time soon?
• What's the main focus right now in the project?

I recently switched from Neovim over to Helix mostly because I was just getting a bit tired of maintaining my config (which is extremely minimal - like almost zero plugins). Helix was appealing because of how little config I had to do to get it to my liking, and I'm really enjoying it so far.

Appreciate the link to that Reddit post. Didn't think to look there for this info. So from that post I gathered:

• There is no release schedule.
• The main focus right now are on these other libraries that support Helix (file watcher, fuzzy finder, possibly a plugin system).
