display time helix/buffer has been open for in the statusline

it would be nice to know how much time i've wasted debugging with a small (h):mm:ss timer on my statusline. i don't see anything like that in [editor.statusline] docs and i couldn't find any similar ideas here in the discussions.
it could be customized to display per buffer or for the whole window. i could probably implement that, i may take a look at the guidelines later but if someone could tell me which parts are relevant to my idea then i could get started and try making something
