In the Continue Markdown Lists / Quotes recipe, it would be better if pressing return/enter twice would end the continuation of the list. This is how the automatic bulleting works in most of the Microsoft products, not that that's a gold standard but it is what I'm used to as far as auto bulleting goes.

Work arounds: Once a new line is started and I'm at the end of my list, I can press Esc, x d i to remove the unneeded bullet. Instead of four keystrokes and switching back and forth between modes, a second enter would be much more fluid. Another option is to just hit Esc, d 6 x d to delete the previous 6 characters, but that's more keystrokes. Really, a second enter would be best if possible.
