Can not use older chromedriver version.

For my project, I had to use ChromeDriver 131.0.6778.69, but this build is automatically updating to a newer version that is not compatible with my project. How can I prevent that?

This buildpack does not support preventing updates to Chrome, as its design and purpose is to keep Chrome & Chromedriver up-to-date and in-sync.

If you need to lock to a specific version, you could remove this buildpack, then download the Chrome & Chromedriver [linux amd64] versions required, and store them in the git repo along with the app code. Of course, the code that uses these executables will need its path updated to the place they're stored.
