         OASIS NOW AVAILABLE FOR NEW MODELS FROM AEON, ASTROCOM, ITHACA

     INTERSYSTEMS, MORROW DESIGNS, NORTHSTAR, SD SYSTEMS, AND SYSTEMS GROUP


         Providing true   multi-user   capabilities   with  enhanced   file
    management  and  software  development facilities,  the OASIS operating
    system  is  now available  for new  models  from Aeon, Astrocom, Ithaca
    InterSystems, Morrow Designs, Northstar, SD Systems, and Systems Group.

         The Aeon Pulse system  enhances its Digital Group heritage  with a
    clock/calendar  board  and  bank-switchable memory.   OASIS Archive and
    Restore backup  utilities support the optional 10- or 20-MByte IMI hard
    disk.  

         Widely used  in  advanced communications  situations, the Astrocom
    Series  760  incorporates  10-MByte hard  disks and  8"  floppies.  The
    complete system includes  a versatile VDM terminal and  132 column, 180
    cps CDC printer.  

         Ithaca InterSystems  S-100  based system  with 20-slot motherboard
    quickly becomes an excellent single-user development station with OASIS
    high  level BASIC  with compiler/interpreter, EXEC job control language
    and macro assembler/debugger/linkage editor.  

         Another S-100 system,  the Morrow Designs Decision I provides file
    locking  and  automatic  record locking  to insure  data  integrity for
    multi-user  environments.  Of  course, the  M10, M20 and M26 hard  disk
    controllers are also supported.  

         Increasing both  the number  of users  which  can be supported and
    available RAM for  each, drivers for the new  Northstar HRAM and HSIO-4
    four port  serial boards  are now options for all  future OASIS/Horizon
    systems.   Usable memory  has been  expanded from 56K to 62K.   The new
    configuration includes six  serial ports, l6K global memory,  and up to
    seven banks  of 46K RAM.  Work is underway to include the new Northstar
    5-1/4" Winchester Drive.  

         New SD Systems  600  and  700  Series  units offer  expanded  mass
    storage to support  OASIS multi-user facilities for up  to 16 different
    users,  including  multi-user  SPOOLER  and inter-user  communications.
    Five  and  ten  Mbyte Winchester  hard disks  are  supported by the 600
    Series,  while  the 700  Series units  include  support for CDC Phoenix
    drives.  

         The Systems  Group  System  2800  offers  welcome  flexibility  in
    maintaining public, private or shared files with versatile security and
    accounting controls in their S-100 system.  In addition to the 10 MByte
    8" Winchester hard disk, up to 12 I/O ports are available.  

         All new   OASIS    compatible   configurations   include   direct,
    sequential,  keyed  and  ISAM files  to provide  the  right file access
    method for every  application, while a full featured  text editor eases
    progam, manuals or other large document writing chores.  

         Comprehensive options  offered  with  the new  systems include the
    CONTROL  Relational DBMS,  File Sort Utility, BiSync 2780/3780, IBM3740
    formatter,  and  FORTH,  FORTRAN,  RM  COBOL,  and  Pascal  high  level
    languages.
