                                OASIS USERS GROUP


         Offering several new volumes of public domain software, membership
    services,  and  a meeting  scheduled for  COMDEX  '81, the OASIS Users'
    Group has grown rapidly since its inception early this year.

         Fred Bellomy,  Users' Group  coordinator, reports new members join
    the  organization  weekly, and  bring with  them  a bevy of contributed
    software.    Bellomy   includes  their   thoughts  and  comments  in  a
    machine-readible  newsletter  and membership  roster included with each
    volume.  Originally released  only on eight inch single  density disks,
    plans are  now underway to make the library available on mini-disks and
    ONYX tape cartridges.

         Business, Tools, and Games Programs

         The OASIS Users' Group Library of seven volumes includes almost 30
    utilities   including   a   clock,   diskfile  library,   OASIS-to-CP/M
    communications  package,   SORT,  and  several  tutorials.   Additional
    business programs offer a decision maker, loan amortization, budgeting,
    time, least-squared-fit and other statistical packages.  Among the over
    50 games provided are Baseball, Black Jack, Checkers, Chess, Civil War,
    Craps, Dundgeons  & Dragons,  Gomoko, Hangman, Keno, Master Mind,  NFL,
    Quest, Slot Machine, Star Trek, Tic-tac-toe, Wumpus, and others.

         To facilitate  more  efficient  understanding and  appreciation of
    each volume,  every  volume  in  the  library has  its  own "automated"
    routine for introducing an demonstrating each contribution on the disk.
    Bellomy  explains  that  new volumes  are being  released  about once a
    month, and that newer volumes contain fewer and fewer games.

         Members are  currently  working on  the conversion of the complete
    business  system,  BUSINESSMASTER  II, for  use with  OASIS  Basic.  An
    entire volume may be dedicated to this function.

         COMDEX Meeting Planned

         Plans and an  adjenda for the first OASIS Users' Group meeting are
    being  prepared  for the  COMDEX  '81  show  to  be held  in  Las Vegas
    Convention  Center, November  19-22, 1981.  Representative of Phase One
    Systems will be on hand to interact directly with OASIS users.

         Bellomy welcomes  suggested  topics  and assitance  in preparation
    plans.

         How to Join

         Membership in the OASIS Users Group is $35.00, and includes Volume
    1.  All  newsletters and volume directories are included with Volume 1.
    Additional volumes  are $35 each with credit for software contributions
    and every fourth volume free on a standing order.
