After installation, hdmi dont work...?

I discovered this week that my hdmi has no sound. I found your repo and installed this module in my ubuntu 16.04, kernel 4.15. After installing the problem is that even connected with hdmi now it does not display anything. What should I do?

Hi! I've tried with both the nouveau and the nvidia proprietary driver. I can get the sound controller in ALSA with both modules, but it works only with the proprietary one. At least on my NVIDIA GTX 1050ti mobile.

I am in Ubuntu 16.04.5 with kernel 4.15.0-47-generic with a 1070MaxQ. I successfully installed the repo and had your same problem (no video when attaching the cable). I cold reboot the machine and problem fixed!
