Hey everyone!

Tado CE currently supports 7 languages:

• 🇬🇧 English (English)
• 🇩🇪 German (Deutsch)
• 🇪🇸 Spanish (Español)
• 🇫🇷 French (Français)
• 🇮🇹 Italian (Italiano)
• 🇳🇱 Dutch (Nederlands)
• 🇵🇹 Portuguese (Português)

Translations are generated using DeepL API from the English source strings, which generally produces good results — but machine translation isn't perfect, especially for HVAC-specific terminology.

What we'd like to know

If you're using Tado CE in a non-English language, we'd appreciate your feedback on:

1. Accuracy — Are there any translations that feel wrong or confusing?
2. Terminology — Do the HVAC/heating terms match what you'd expect in your language? (e.g. "overlay", "frost protection", "flow temperature")
3. Consistency — Are similar concepts translated differently in different places?
4. Missing context — Are there labels or descriptions that don't make sense without the English original?

• Your language
• The string that needs improvement (screenshot or text)
• What it should say instead

Even small corrections help — a single word fix can make the whole UI feel more natural.
