The biggest Tado CE release yet. 9 new features, 9 improvements, and 2 bug fixes — all driven by community feedback.
Highlights
🌡️ Weather Compensation
Your boiler can now automatically adjust its flow temperature based on outdoor conditions. Pick from three presets (Radiators Standard, Radiators Low Temp, Underfloor) or create your own heating curve. Built-in smoothing and oscillation protection keep things stable.
Settings → Tado CE → Configure → Global Settings → Flow Temperature Control
🔄 Restore Previous State
New
restore_previous_stateservice that puts a zone back to whatever it was doing before the last change. Works with heating, AC, and hot water. State is saved automatically before any overlay action and survives HA restarts.🪟 Smarter Window Detection
Window detection now works even when your heating or AC is off. The new Passive mode combines temperature drop speed, humidity changes, and indoor-outdoor temperature difference — and adjusts for your window type and season. Choose Active, Passive, or Auto per zone.
Plus: HA events fire when a window is detected or cleared, so you can build your own automations.
☀️ Heat Index & Heat Risk
With summer around the corner, the Comfort Level sensor now shows "feels like" temperature when it's warm, factoring in humidity. Risk levels (Caution → Extreme Danger) appear in sensor attributes and comfort recommendations — so you're ready before the heat arrives.
🏠 Adaptive Preheat Passive Mode
Preheat now has three modes per zone: Off, Active, and Passive. Passive mode only triggers when the zone is following its schedule — if you've set a manual override from HomeKit, the Tado app, or another integration, preheat stays out of the way.
🌉 Bridge Health Tracking
New binary sensor showing whether your Internet Bridge is reachable, with response time, failure count, and connection history. Tolerates brief hiccups — only marks disconnected after 3 consecutive failures.
