Symbol rotation

Hi

I know some basic coding but I don't know where to start in this case...

Currently, the signal icons are always up-right. This makes sense for symmetrical signals, but is a little odd for asymmetrical signals, like those in Belgium. So I want to try and put them in the same orientation as the direction indicator. Just locally of course.

It seems not too difficult but I guess I could use a little head start. Any help is much appreciated!
