Making translated station names configurable

Please make the new feature of localized station names configurable and add an option to turn it off. Struggling with names like "Danzig Hauptbahnhof" or "Kleinseitner Ring" makes the map nearly useless for me.

Can you give a bit more context on which locale you use, and which names you expect to see, which zoom levels and where on the map? The local names should show under the localized names.

Making localization and which locale to use (browser, or custom) configurable, makes sense to me though.

When I center the map at 50.0828155/14.4360618 and start zooming in at the zoom level of about 6 the name of this train station starts to appear as "Prag Hauptbahnhof" (I have selected the option to display the station names and not the references). At the level of about 13 this caption is accompagnied by "Praha hlavní nádraží" in a smaller non-bold font underneath. A similiar behavour I see for metro stations and tram stops.
The default language in my browser ist german. When I change it to english, the translated name changes to "Prague Main Station". So I assume it takes these captions from the name:de and name:en tags.

The expected behaviour would be that there is an option in the settings to enable a mode where only (and only) the value of the name tag is displayed at the relevant zoom levels. For this is usualy the name one can find on the ground at the station itself and in timetables etc. The translated names from the name:xy tags would never be displayed in this mode.
