Hiero team,

As discussed in today's Maintainer's Monthly (video recording), we are inviting all maintainers to review our Hiero Project Goals for 2026 which you can find in this document.

In general, we are including goals to cover:

The AI Studio his addressing a few of the areas for innovation from the project goals doc:

7.2 Areas for innovation (2026), Actions, Measures and Actors

• AI-Agent Credentials: Prototype agent-issued / held verifiable credentials (VC) aligned with LFDT privacy framework (demo Q4) - We have built the Hedera Agent Kit, and the AI Agent Lab (the UI interface soon to be launched in the developer portal) to include identities (dids and Agent Cards, aligned with the A2A/ AP2 Standards) and are also creating demos where we use VCs as a part of the checkout flow. • X402 - Standard for digital payment - This blog outlines how we are participating in the x402 standards. One of our community teams that we work with (blockydevs) has set up an x402 facilitator, and we have a Hedera schema accepted into the x402 standard. https://hedera.com/blog/hedera-and-the-x402-payment-standard/

As AI Studio seeks out opportunities to collaborate with different ecosystems, companies, the AAIF foundation, and council memebers, we hope to build out POCs (and case studies) that also exemplify how these things can be used on/ with Hedera.
