Motivation / Existing Problem
At the moment, the dimension leaders, their extension lines and the constraints all have the same linetype, lineweight and colour. This makes it harder to differentiate between them at a glance.
Also, the orange lines take precedence over the geometry itself, so the sketch has less visual clarity than the constraints.
Description
I think that the constraints themselves should have a different colour than dimensions. The constraints (perpendicular, horizontal/ vertical, etc.) are more like geometric relationships. These could perhaps be displayed in teal. The dimension extension lines should have a thinner lineweight than the dimension leader and/ or a more subdued colour. This moves them to the background and brings the dimensions themselves to the foreground.
Alternative Solutions
I think this is very much a trial and error thing. Checking lineweights and colours each iteration, evaluate the result and address any difficulties that may be present.
