Suggestion for coffee brewing chart visualization project #489
Description
Based on a suggestion made to me by @bkreider (thanks!), I think it might be nice to add a notebook inspired by this blog post about coffee brewing charts.
There are a couple of reasons I think this might be a nice example:
- Lots of people who code like coffee
- A fairly different domain from our typical examples (i.e. not geoscience, neuroscience or finance)
- Opportunity to show some plot types that are poorly represented in the other examples (3D surface plots, contour plots)
- The blog post has some examples I can immediately see map to an interactive version using a dropdown menu:
I have not gone through the blog post carefully enough yet to understand all the details but I do see that a number of scientific white papers are references (so hopefully we could get the relevant raw data if we need it).
