Reolink - Client connector error during login of host - Failed to connect, check the IP address of the camera

The problem

Hi,
Whatever I do just can't add my Reolink Doorbell POE camera to Home assistant.

My camera is accessible from Reolink mobile, desktop and web client but can not be connected to home assistant!

Have all the ports open. Refer to the photos attached!

Can you please advice what is the process or the fix.

I am also having what appears to be the same issue setting up a ReoLink Argus Track camera (solar powered / wifi). I do make sure I wake the camera before logging in to the integration with the correct name / pwd.

@jonnparkertx The Reolink Argus Track is a battery camera and therefore you will need a Reolink Home Hub or NVR to integrate it into HomeAssistant using the Reolink integration, please see https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/reolink/#tested-battery-powered-models

@abhishekbanik strange you are having these issues, do you have seperate VLANs or any other restrictions on your LAN?
So if you go to the IP 192.168.178.32 in a browser on a PC you are able to login to the NVR?
What is the local IP-adress of the PC which can reach the NVR? (Is it also 192.168.178.xxx)?
What is the local IP-adress of the HomeAssistant device? (Is it also 192.168.178.xxx)?

Could you enable debug logging of the reolink integration and then try to set it up again?

HiThey are all on the same VLAN, HA is 192.168.178.106 and Reolink is 192.168.178.32.I will enable debug logging when I get home. The Reolink doorbell camera is connected via POE switch. Hi I tried the logger, but dosent seem to be logging anything for the Reolink integration. I also seem to have a constant battle with Smartlife custom component being failing all the time! My locks are full with that!

Did you restart HomeAssistant after changing the configuration.yaml?

And then tried to add the reolink integration?

The error in the logs will only show after you tried to add the reolink integration.

Please also check the custom_components folder to see if you still have a old custom version of the reolink integration in there. If so delete the reolink folder from custom_components and restart HomeAssistant.

Hi, Happy new year! Just updated the HA core, then checked the files, no Reolink folder in CC folder or anywhere. Retried to install the integration, no luck with installing or a log! I am thinking I should do a clean install of HA!? Thoughts?

Did you add this to your configuration.yaml?

  default: warning
  logs:
    homeassistant.components.reolink: debug

Once you do that, restart HA, then try to add the doorbell.
After having done that go to settings->system->logs -> click the 3 dots -> show raw logs.
Then press download logs and upload the log.txt file here.

Also been having this issue basically every 24hrs everything goes unavailable and pops this error. I reset HA and it clears it, I’ll try and dump a log next time

I have installed the new update of the core 2025.1.2, deleted any folder of Reolink in, just now tried to install the Reolink again, not successful, download the log.
