Description
I recently got a Tapo C520WS and switched from Alexa to HomeKit. At first, I thought the stream wasn’t loading because the HomePod needed to handle the processing. After getting a HomePod, the issue persists.
- Preview frames work fine, but when I open the camera, the stream loads for a while and then fails.
- Logs show the stream is sending a lot of encrypted data, but nothing seems to be reaching HomeKit.
- I checked the documentation and other reports, tried changing the video codec, but no success.
- The docs mention that the audio stream is disabled by default so I didn't fiddle around with that yet.
I’m new to Home Assistant but eager to learn. This camera is important to me because without it working, I’d have to continue paying for a monthly subscription. Any help is greatly appreciated!
😵 Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist!
