2026.5.0b0 does NOT allow a restore to backup of an older version

The problem

I installed the 2026.5.0b0 version, and it caused an issue with a custom integration. I wanted to restore to grab all of my settings and move to a different custom integration. I have tried multiple backups (I back up daily), and each one keeps the 2026.5.0b0 core.

I do not see anything in the 2026.5.0 release to resolve this issue. I did open a similar issue, but closed it so I could add the integration information.

Same. I can't go back to 4.4 from 5.0b0.
It restores backup and states, but version remains on 5.0b0
