The problem
Description:
I am using the official Reolink integration in Home Assistant, but my Reolink Argus PT Ultra does not expose any camera entity (no live stream).
All other functionality works correctly, so the device is clearly connected and supported to some extent.
Environment
Home Assistant OS: 18.0
Home Assistant Core: 2026.6.4
Supervisor: 2026.06.2
Reolink Integration: Official (built-in)
Camera model: Reolink Argus PT Ultra
Firmware: v3.0.0.4739_25090837
Hardware ID: BIPC_NT2BNO28MPW4SD15V5
Connection: WiFi (no Reolink Home Hub / NVR used)
Current behavior
The following entities are available in Home Assistant:
motion/person/vehicle/pet detection sensors
battery sensor
PTZ control buttons
siren control
configuration entities (IR, sensitivity, etc.)
However, no camera.* entity is created, and therefore:
no live stream is available in Home Assistant
no snapshot stream entity exists
Expected behavior
A camera entity (e.g. camera.argus_pt_ultra) should be created, similar to other Reolink camera models supported by the integration.
Notes
The camera works normally in the Reolink app.
PTZ and AI detection features work in Home Assistant.
Other Reolink camera models (e.g. RLC series) correctly expose camera entities and streams in Home Assistant on the same system.
It seems that the Argus PT Ultra is partially supported, but streaming support is missing or not initialized.
Question
Is this model supposed to support live streaming in the current Reolink integration, or is camera entity creation not implemented for battery-powered models like the Argus PT Ultra yet?
