Energy Dashboard - reset data or refresh data

I have recently noticed that my energy sensors were incorrectly reporting consumption, export, cost, etc. They have now corrected themselves, however, this information now remains in the HA database in the statistics table. To correct the issue, I need to update the DB.

It would be great for the energy configuration to have a reset data or refresh data which would either purge all data to start again, or refresh, which would re-calculate the sum (running sum) columns.

Maybe an import data feature would be good also, so data can be cleansed in excel, and then reloaded back in.
