In the support document it says:
"…
- From the list, select Wyoming Protocol.
- Follow the instructions on screen to complete the setup.
…"
but the instructions, are those in that page because on the ones on the UI are more like steps, placeholders maybe:
A Host hosting what? What type of port? Since host is mentioned is probably safe to assume it's UDP or TCP, but it could very well be a generic virtual port such as in RADIUS' lexicon, or a /dev/tty-something-path-port like so many others in Home Assistant.
It is also mentioned that by adding the integration it can discover stuff automatically, but…
…it's not possible to add it without filling in something.
Finally, you may have the wrong name for the page; I found it clicking on the question mark icon in the Wyoming integration (i.e; for the Wyoming protocol) with the tooltip "Help" but instead of having information about its config, it mentions loosely what the protocol is, and at the same time nothing at all, the real info is behind the links for dev-level stuff on it. All these side quests for pre-tasks before the final task is no easy to follow specially when the side quest is explained generically in its own space when it would better to copy the original material, even if it means duplicating most of it, because it would eliminate the need to mastering the side quest' topic at least enogh to adapt it back to the previous one, leaving less room for unaddressed uncertainty.
It does look like a cool protocol, though; it reminds me the new network audio capabilities in Fedora which don't seem to stop. Kudos to the team.
