Description
It is a very useful project, I built 2 for my retro PCs already. One small issue is that the content of the EEPROM got corrupted. Either checkit itself or the hdspeed utility that comes with it changes the 3rd and 4th byte of the EEPROM and so it never boots again until I program it again. I could repeat the effect and always these bytes, I don't know why, I have too little knowledge about the signals. My solution was to cut the trace from ISA B11 leg (/SMEMW, System Memory Write) to pin 27 of the EEPROM (/Write Enable) and connected pin 27 to VCC (pin 28, so...). First tests were successful, checkit and hdspeed did not corrupt the EEPROM yet.
