Device: Vine TJ550 thermostat (Tuya-based)

The thermostat has a physical sensor calibration offset set on the device (+6°F in my case). This offset is applied locally and shows correctly on the device screen and in SmartLife, but Homebridge receives the raw uncorrected sensor value, causing HomeKit to display temperatures 6°F lower than actual.

Feature request: please add a temperatureOffset field to the per-device config that gets added to the reported temperature value before passing it to HomeKit. This would allow users to match the calibration offset set on their physical device.

TJ550 only shows Auto and Off in HomeKit, Cool mode is missing. That’s actually a more critical bug than the temperature offset.

Thank you for the information.

I understand that there are two issues:

1. The temperature offset you configured is not being reflected in the Home app.
2. The “Cool” option does not appear in the mode list.

Regarding the first issue, instead of configuring individual offsets for each device in the plugin settings, I’m considering retrieving the already‑configured offset values through the API and applying them directly. What do you think about this approach?
As for the second issue, the reason the “Cool” option is not shown is likely because your device’s schema does not match the standard code list.
If you use the Override feature in the plugin settings, the option should appear.
It may be possible to modify the plugin so that “Cool” appears automatically without any manual configuration, but to do that, I need the schema information for your device.

To proceed with these fixes, please send me your device’s schema data.
The log should show the path to a file containing the device information.
Please send the contents of that file.
