RESTRICTED_TO_PM cannot message subreddit mods and other #5575
Description
I'm rocking RES, and just tried to message the mods of a subreddit and was given an error bottom right:
"RESTRICTED_TO_PM : User doesn't accept direct messages. Try sending a chat request instead."
It looks like the issue is wide-spread and related to Reddit API changes, or something like that.

There's probably more references elsewhere, but I didn't find any github issues for this matter on this repo, so this is me starting the impetus to maybe get this sorted.
The "solution" for me (temporary?) is to disable "Quick Message" functionality: https://www.reddit.com/#res:settings/quickMessage
Bit of a bummer as it's a pretty nice function. But got me back up and working.
