This was recently added to the iOS repo:

Are there any plans to do something similar with Android? Are there any current workarounds to get that behavior?

I actually encountered this problem recently as well. I have it on a to-do list to investigate if there is a workaround.

+1 to this, it would be great not to create a load spike on the backend with multiple simultaneous loads.
