Suspected memory leak on MacOS

Every time I leave my Macbook Pro open overnight, I wake up to find my laptop sluggish. It appears that keymapperd is taking up a lot of memory (>10G). Force-quitting will cause keymapperd to restart with a sensible amount of memory, but the sluggishness doesn't fix itself unless I restart the laptop. See screenshot from Activity Monitor.

Hardware: Macbook Pro 16" M1 Max, 32GB, Tahoe 26.1

Here's my ~/.config/keymapper.conf:

what version of keymapper? i have not seen similar on windows 11

I have since uninstalled keymapper so I can't say for sure. Given I used Homebrew to install it just two days before reporting this issue, I imagine it will be 5.3.1.
