Windows Power Plan: Turn off Display after x is not working where deskhop is active

Whichever system has deskhop active stops the windows turn off display tool, which in turn is stopping my monitor from sleeping (I'm using a 57" ultrawide with dual input picture by picture mode for the 2 systems)

I can verify that deskhop is the cause by removing the USB plugs from the host systems, then monitors power down at the configured time interval.

Is there any workaround for this?

Confirmed the screensaver option is off? Some OS logs would be helpful, i.e. dumping HID events to see if any events get registered that would prevent the monitor from going to sleep. I don't really use Windows much, so no idea how they would be affected. Let me know if there is any data I could use to look into this.... thanks!

I have a bit more info than when I created the ticket, I've confirmed that this is only happening when I have the wireless receiver for my Logitech MX Master 3S mouse plugged in, I grabbed some mouse logging software and confirmed it is constantly updating it's position:

When I plug in my Corsair Scimitar Wireless receiver there are no events recorded when the mouse isn't moving.

I've also noticed that hold click is interrupted by these events, so if I'm selecting text for example the selection will stop and then it will start trying to drag the previously selected text as if a new hold click event has started.

Ideally I want my scimitar mouse plugged directly into my PC since deskhop doesn't support all of it's buttons, but when I use it with the Logitech dongle plugged into deskhop the cursor keeps snapping to the last place the cursor was with the Logitech mouse, I was going to create a seperate ticket for this but now I think they are related.
