Rust API stabilization plan?

hi,README states this lib is "not meant to be used directly".
I have a Rust project that needs to download HF repos with Xet support. Is there a reason Rust consumers are discouraged beyond API instability?

Will core crates (cas_client, data, etc.) be published to crates.io? Or should we use git dependencies for now?
What's the recommended approach for Rust integration?

Thanks for the interest! Yes we are considering publishing the data crate to crates.io and exposing the most high level APIs. You can use the git dependency for now but be watchful for refactors to the interface as we work on the publish. Also, on a side note, we are revamping the upload and download logic so things may be unstable.

Can you tell us more about the Rust project you are working on? We do have a plan to refactor and release a Rust crate, it would be good to understand what your needs would be for that crate.
