Feature request: automated testing (and in general just more testing)

The codebase and features in this fork are becoming increasingly complicated and require a significant amount of manual testing. It would be nice to have a test setup that not only tests the functions as they are, but also vpub-plus as a complete package - for example, perform visual testing and automate the user journey to create posts.
