Today load consumption required

Dears,

i am in need of the parameter "Today load consumption" displayed by Solis inverter - see picture:

In the HA Solis integration about today load i see only the sensor "sensor.solis_daily_grid_energy_used", which is giving different values than "Today load consumption" displayed by Solis inverter, as above.

I do not see this parameter in HA integration, unfortunately. I am using HA Solis integration version 4.0.1.

The calculation Solis API does to provide load is flawed and its data for load useless, in my humble opinion

For me part of the problem is the BMS charge and discharge data it uses, but it is inaccurate with the import and export numbers it uses too. Not only this but the battery totals at the end of each day are not recorded, as they tend to only increment in integers which can be any time.

So I created my own calculation in HA using the following values:

• initialSoc: at midnight, capture the current kWh remaining in battery
• currentSoc: current kWh remaining in battery
• dailyTotalImport: current total smart meter import in kWh (resets to 0 at midnight)
• dailyTotalExport: current total smart meter export in kWh (resets to 0 at midnight)
• dailyTotalYield: one of the only Solis values I trust
• dailyTotalPowerMeter: I have a small power meter attached to my consumer unit which provides actual consumption in my house - feeds into HA

Calculate actual inverter power as:
initialSoc + currentTotalYield + dailyTotalImport - dailyTotalExport - dailyTotalPowerMeter - currentSoc

When I charted this in HA, this revealed to me that my model 3105 inverter uses approximately 2 kWh every day, consistently.

As I am on the Octopus Flux tariff and import at 2am daily, this approach revealed that the daily import alone makes up 50% of that.

By no means am I an expert in this and welcome criticism of this approach but it has helped me make sense of my consumption. I installed the power meter not long after I had my inverter installed because I quickly realised the Solis load figures were totally unreliable.
