Upon initial loading panes have incorrect widths and the right pane takes almost the entire screen. This quickly changes to the correct initially defined widths causing a flicker.

We need to load panes in a state respecting the initially defined proportions. This solution has to scale with the feature (currently disabled) that saves user selected pane widths.
