Fabric v3.0 Support - Testing Offer & Timeline Question

Hi Token SDK Team!

I'm building a demo blockchain environment with Fabric v3.0.0 (SmartBFT) and
would like to use the Token SDK.

Background:
I found Issue #916 about Fabric v3 support and understand this is not going on. I'm willing to be an early tester.

My Situation:

• Fabric v3.0.0 network running (Peers, Orderer, SmartBFT consensus)
• CCAAS deployed, certificates enrolled
• Token Node build failing due to dependency incompatibilities
• Non-developer, but experienced with Fabric deployment

Questions:

1. Is there a development/feature branch for Fabric v3 I can pull and test?
2. What's the expected timeline for v0.4.0 with v3 support?
3. Can I contribute as a tester for production-like scenarios?

Why I need this:
SmartBFT consensus is essential for my concept demonstration (Byzantine Fault
Tolerance use case). Downgrading to Fabric 2.5 would eliminate the key
feature I need to showcase.

Happy to provide detailed feedback, logs, or test specific scenarios!

Hi @Jenziner, the latest version on the main branch works with Fabric v3. However, we did not integrate SmartBFT into our integration test framework (NWO).

Update: Here we introduce Fabric v3 3c0215a

Note that the latest "release" is v0.5.0, which include Fabric v3. If you find any issues with that version, please let us know.
