is there something I did wrong in creating this discussion post? There has been no response from the dev team so I am thinking they filtered it as spam |

Same here. GTX 1650 Mobile Max-Q Acer Nitro 5 with i5 11400H. On the internal monitor, works fine. When i plug the external, even if use 2560x1440 at 1 scale it just lower the problem a bit. With 3840x2160@60 at 1.5 being the desirable scenario. I've tested GNOME Wayland and Sway. I can see no problem in the cursor rendering speed. I've plugged on Windows just to see if my monitor or cable is the problem, and there i can see the cursor behaving also with high speed. I've disabled hardware cursors on external monitor using NVIDIA but it seem take no effect. The HDMI port is connected directly to the NVIDIA card. Windows cursor is faster than Sway, but Sway seems faster than GNOME, and then Hyprland the slowest. I game in 144Hz on Windows and forced 60Hz in all scenarios. It's just my user experience. I've tested both open and closed nvidia drivers, tested stable, legacy and production releases on NixOS. Also, gived the force flag on Sway, |

Edit: On 2560x1440@60 1, it's ok When i use 3840x2160@60 1.5, feels laggy, switched to Sway and it's not. |

Well, i've just stopped flirting with my hybrid NVIDIA/Intel laptop and back using my 5600g. Cursors are rendering fine with the same speed of Windows and 4K@60 1.5 has no lag. |

as title it seems that again on nvidia hardware cursors slows down refresh rate of the cursor. not as bad as it once was but it is still noticable.
