I have this strange issue with cursor locking in the unreal editor when running it with xwayland on Hyprland (never had this issue when running on X11)
If I try to look around the view always tries to return to center, but what's even worse is that if I try to use the mouse click to drag sliders they too will always want to return to center.
In the below vid I unsuccesfully try to look around, then I adjust a slider, when I am adjusting the slider i am only moving my mouse to the right (so normal behavior would be for it to increase to max, but what happens is it fluctuates instead)

The problem only happens sometimes, and it's always clear the moment I start up the editor (e.g. either I will have this issue or not)
When the issue is not there interestingly dragging sliders completely breaks but looking around works fine

I remember I used to have this exact same problem on OpenMW in Hyprland once but I only found a report by myself for another issue with OpenMW which would have been around the same time, I think at the time I updated from stable to git at the time to overcome this particular problem which then lead to that new problem that I actually reported...
There were a few possibly relevant issues posted at the time such as this.
