I'm not sure I understand but I think your solution is to use ignorealpha. |

i'm using rofi -v Version: 1.7.9+wayland1-dirty, arch/hyprland,

and i want to make a full-screen powermenu with a blurry background, but i don't know how to specify only a the menu i want to have it blurred (powermenu in my case) to have a blurry background.
layerrule = blur, rofi | works great, but for all rofi (the bleedy blur border on rofi launcher is ugly af as shown in the picture down below) , so the issue is hyprctl client / xprop nor xdotool couldn't identify what class, window or any opened rofi i do have .
I have menus and launcher configured for rofi and the last one which looks great with blurry background is the full-screen powermenu..
As a reference: why not native Wayland support for rofi? In a Wayland environment, clients have no control over their surface position.
