Can't get lenovo stylus working in hyprland.

I use hyprland on my oneXplayer X1, which after installing linux I found that it uses the same display as a Lenovo Y700, and the stylus device from it is picked up as well. However after linking up a stylus meant for the Y700 to the oneXplayer via bluetooth and attempting some input in Krita, I got nothing, doesn't even register as input normally.

I already asked in r/linuxquestions and they told me to go here. Maybe someone with a oneXplayer X1 or other device with a similar screen can help me here?

I had the same issue in GNOME so I know it's not a hyprland specific issue.
