no left mouse click after systemctl suspend on laptop

[hyprbased]

when running systemctl suspend manually (not by lid actions) the left mouse button wont reliably register.

if i close and open my laptop lid, the left mouse button will work again.

i've tried many times over the last 2 days. i dont have other WM to try to see if this is wayland or hyprland issue.

the problem is not present in niri, so im guessing its most likely a hyprland specific bug.
(just installed niri for temporary check)

I'm experiencing this same issue. Right click works, but left click doesn't register. The quick fix I've been using is to suspend the PC and wake it up again. Usually it works on the first attempt, but sometimes you need multiple tries.
