Error when using Hyprland alongside LightDM

Newbie here (I figured this was the appropiate topic to select, sorry if I was wrong). I installed for the first time Hyprland but it does not seem to be working. I'm using lightdm as well and, the first problem came when lightdm would not launch automatically on startup. I think I solved it by removing the generic drivers and installing the official nvidia packages (nvidia, nvidia-utils and nvidia-settings if my memory is correct). Now it shows lightdm login, but my issue comes when I login into hyprland, and it is that sometimes it completely freezes right when I login and it won't work in any way. The only way to do something is pressing the power button on my laptop. It is weird because sometimes it does work and sometimes it does not. Apparently, when i launch it from the tty using Hyprland it works just fine.

PD: I also have some trouble with scaling (because everything looks pixelated and gigantic although I think i configured the screen correctly) and the cursor size, which, for some apps stays as in the config file says, but in others it does not. However, this issues are secondary, because i won't even experience them if Hyprland freezes lmao (although help concerning these would also be highly appreciated)

LightDM doesn't seem to be listed in the wiki, but it generally works poorly and should be avoided when using Wayland compositors. You can however use SDDM, GDM or greetd just fine (https://wiki.hypr.land/Getting-Started/Master-Tutorial/#launching-hyprland).

Thanks a lot, I'll try SDDM as soon as I can.
Any ideas on my other two problemas?

Regarding scaling, only xwayland should pose problems. I suggest using xwayland:force_zero_scaling = true, see https://wiki.hypr.land/Configuring/XWayland/#hidpi-xwayland.

The cursor size also depends on the toolkit and whether your apps are using wayland/xwayland. Qt uses your hyprcursor config, so the cursor should look as you set it. GTK however uses client side cursors, which have to be set separately. See https://wiki.hypr.land/FAQ#how-do-i-change-me-mouse-cursor if you haven't already.
