swallow_exception_regex is currently semi-broken for kitty and alacritty

As I discovered here: #10745

Alacritty and kitty put some leading garbage into the title that breaks swallow_exception_regex, currently workaround of prepending the options with a wildcard like so:

swallow_exception_regex = .*(vkcube|glxgears|[wx]ev)

This is likely a regression because I know it worked fine in the recent past.

There's also a strange issue where wev sometimes gets swallowed on kitty (alacritty unaffected) despite being set in swallow_exception_regex; I haven't the faintest idea what could be causing that; and I am pretty sure that it worked fine not that long ago.
