Keybinds stop working after switching with home-manager

I have noticed a possible bug occuring when executing home-manager switch. From this commit onward, after switching to a new HM profile all keybinds defined for Hyprland stop working (Hyprland passes them through). For them to work again I have to restart Hyprland session, executing hyprctl reload doesn't help. This makes Hyprland very annoying to use, since I have to quit Hyprland after every home-manager switch.

OS: NixOS 25.05
Hyprland installed from stable Nixpkgs (bisected searching for the first bad commit using flake input)

I experience same bug. Keybindings just stop working and as described, hyprctl reload doesn't help. In my case it happens randomly, might happen after being idle for some time. I didn't find any logs related to that.

I assume it might be related to:

misc { 
    disable_autoreload = true
}

Which is set in my config. I will try to represent the bug with it set to false.

The last line in the log is a bit weird, I'll investigate. Currently we only set the canonical symlink path and move on. Maybe we need to actually keep track of each symlink's canonical path and replace it accordingly.
