NixOS + Cachix issue: "SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK (60) SSL certificate problem: self-signed certificate"

I went to update my flake and system yesterday, and upon running nixos-rebuild switch ..., started seeing this error:

error: unable to download 'https://hyprland.cachix.org/7dsn158hgi4q5wjag8lca156ny9vqw33.narinfo': SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK (60) SSL certificate problem: self-signed certificate

I use other cachix caches, and so far hyprland is the only one throwing the errors (but also might be the first one being evaluated).

I've asked around and it sounds like it's a "wait until it's fixed" type of thing, but I'm unsure if it's an issue on the cachix end or the hyprwm folks' end, and whether it's a known issue or even just me.

Strange, I don't have any issues with cachix, but I noticed your configuration is missing the line trusted-substituters = ["https://hyprland.cachix.org"];. According to the wiki https://wiki.hypr.land/Nix/Cachix/, add this and see if it solves your problem.

I discovered this was my own doing 🤦

I had a misconfigured static DNS entry on my router that was routing some traffic to a k8s cluster I'm tinkering with.
