Firefox context menus disappear after turning off displays / dpms

All context menus in FireFox disappear after a dpms event or turning off the display.

Steps to reproduce:

1. open firefox
2. ensure that context menus work by right clicking somewhere
3. lock system, turn off display(s)
4. login again and try to right click to open a context menu again
5. reproduced
