How do i disable the animation when rotating the screen #11552

when using hyprctl keyword monitor "[...], transform, x" to rotate the screen I get a weird 'expansion' animation when going from vertical to horizontal. The background also gets "stretch animated" and waybar also gets 'expanded'. I just want to disable this so that its instantaneous but there doesnt seem to be an option for that. |

add a layerrule of noanim for the layer to disable the animation. wrt rotating, that's down to your wallpaper daemon, but most don't support not rotating them |

wrt rotating, that's down to your wallpaper daemon, but most don't support not rotating them
