it can't be instant because the app has to re-render itself and that's not instant |

I would like the animations enabled=false mode to be changed so that switching between full screen / maximized apps renders the next screen state in a video buffer and then switches instantly. Currently the screen flashes some partial animation rendering even with animations turned off. I use most applications in full screen / maximized mode and switch between them with keyboard shortcuts.
If there is a work around that fixes this already I would like to know.
Found some old issues and discussions about this #683
Let Grok look into it, says the video buffer is flushed even in incomplete states even with animations disabled. But there of course might be a reason for this.
