Target any lutrius game with window-rule

For Steam I use:

windowrule = workspace 2,class:^steam_app_.*$

But Lutrius doesn't add any prefix to game class so I have to make new window rule every time I add new game.

Is there a better solution? To target all game run from lutrius?

Just need to figure out how can I do same for native games now.

When set WINE_WMCLASS=lutris-game class is exactly lutris-game. If you want class like lutris-game_csgo. Need to modify that patch a bit to achieve that.

In my case i set WINE_WMCLASS in env of lutris

So you can add a title: to classify the rule for each game or just set WINE_WMCLASS for each game in lutris

Try proton-ge, it might have the patch

indeed, proton-ge primarily has this patch. we use PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND to enable HDR, and noticed that it does add the proton-game xdgTag. that said, there seems to be an issue w/ window rules using xdgTags, but you can workaround by just adding a user tag to xdgTag proton-game windows, then manipulating the window via rules targeting that user tag instead #12169
