Any updates on this ? This happens to me as well with gamescope games (but the whole screen freezes, save for the center 16x16 or so pixels) Screenshotting also updates (then freezes immediately) and switching workspaces back and forth updates for as long as my window animations play, then freezes |

Using commits newer than bbb8331 results in the rendered image through gamescope to experience issues as described in this I created and closed in the gamescope repo: ValveSoftware/gamescope#2002.
Commit 46174f7 (release 0.51.0) will experience this issue, where the image will be squashed to the left while the rest of the image is filled out with edges of the right side:

When using commit ff50dc3 gamescope still suffers from render issues, but this time it cant be captured with hyprshot. Basically instead of squashing the image, the part of the screen on the right now simply freezes on the first frame rendered. Moving the cursor or taking a screenshot forces an update. Here is an image showcasing the issue:

Edit: I have tracked the issue to commit ba077d8. Starting a game through gamescope when running this commit will result in the bug displayed on the second image.
