monitor on/off makes windows blurry

There might have been a regression of #6560

Myself and others are reporting the same. I can specifically reproduce easily for Firefox/Zen browser by just restarting monitor (on 0.52.1)

I'm on a 3840x2160@60hz monitor with this hypr/monitors.conf

env = GDK_SCALE,2
monitor=,preferred,auto,2

This has been happening for months to me, but I started using Hyprland at 0.51 so I'm not sure if there was a regression since there was mention of a fix before that.

I did find this setting in Firefox: in about:config, set the value of widget.wayland.fractional-scale.enabled to true.

This seems to fix it for me after turning my monitor on and off a few times and doing a suspend/resume.

same here. Only Firefox-based apps, such as Firefox and Thunderbird, are affected. not a recent regression.
