Render96ex rarely renders (it starts to render on start, no render bugs later on) on launch, and on second launch it never renders

So in 0.50.0 I didnt have this issue, i started to experience this in 0.51. What could go wrong? Do we need to compare?

update: it dies out in larger res than 640x480
