I have a hybrid‑GPU laptop (iGPU on card0, NVIDIA on card1).
I connected a very large, high‑resolution, high‑refresh-rate external monitor to the laptop.
When Hyprland runs on the iGPU, the external monitor is extremely laggy, so I tried prioritizing the NVIDIA GPU by doing export AQ_DRM_DEVICES="/dev/dri/card1:/dev/dri/card0"in uwsm environment variables.
But after doing this, my laptop’s internal display (eDP) stopped showing up in hyprctl monitors.
Is there a proper way to make Hyprland render on the NVIDIA GPU for smooth performance while still keeping the internal laptop display visible and usable?
