Not sure what’s wrong, but my system feels broken (xdg-desktop-portal timeouts, browser crashes, PipeWire/WirePlumber issues)

Hi, I’m not sure what caused this, but several things started breaking at the same time. The main problems are:

1. xdg-desktop-portal + browser

• xdg-desktop-portal often times out
• my browser keeps crashing (might be related to portal issues)

2. audio (PipeWire / WirePlumber)

• audio can’t connect
• wpctl status get stuck
• WirePlumber uses very high CPU

Startup script I run from Hyprland
In my Hyprland config startup, I run this script to restart portals:

and the wireplumber consume high cpu
