Not sure what’s wrong, but my system feels broken (xdg-desktop-portal timeouts, browser crashes, PipeWire/WirePlumber issues) #12710

Hi, I’m not sure what caused this, but several things started breaking at the same time. The main problems are:
wpctl statusget stuckXdg Portal Timeout

Browser Crash
Portal setup info
Not sure if this matters, but these portal files exist on my system:
❯ cd /usr/share/xdg-desktop-portal/portals ❯ lsa Permissions Size User Date Modified Name .rw-r--r-- 495 root 24 Mar 09:58 gtk.portal .rw-r--r-- 240 root 6 Dec 03:53 hyprland.portal .rw-r--r-- 119 root 12 Dec 04:23 kwallet.portal .rw-r--r-- 197 root 5 Dec 15:16 wlr.portal ❯ ls ../ gtk-portals.conf hyprland-portals.conf portals wlr-portals.confStartup script I run from Hyprland
In my Hyprland config startup, I run this script to restart portals:
❯ cat xdg.sh
and the wireplumber consume high cpu

also pipewire-pulse error
If anyone can point me to what to check (portal conflicts? multiple portal backends? PipeWire/Pulse socket already running?), I’d appreciate it.
